Curriculum Foundation

The Common Academic Program (CAP) is an innovative curriculum that serves as the foundation of a University of Dayton education. It is a shared learning experience among all undergraduate students, regardless of their major.

Program Requirements

• Some CAP requirements must be fulfilled by courses taken at the University of Dayton.
• Some major requirements must also be fulfilled by courses taken at the University of Dayton.
  • Students should consult with their advisor regarding the applicability of transfer credit to fulfill CAP and major program requirements.
