Introduction to the J.D./MBA Joint Degree Program

The University of Dayton's combined J.D./MBA program is designed to enable students to obtain two professional degrees concurrently and conveniently. This joint degree program is a collaboration between the School of Law and the School of Business Administration, working together to design specific requirements for each student's program, thereby saving valuable time.

Program Structure

The program allows students to complete two degrees simultaneously, with the first year of coursework normally taken in the School of Law, provided the student has not already started their MBA coursework.

Admission Requirements

To apply for admission to the joint degree program, students must meet the admission requirements of both the School of Law and the School of Business Administration. Full applications should be submitted to both schools, along with all other required records and data. Students must indicate to each office that they are seeking admission to the joint program.
