Program Overview


Biology

The University of Dayton's Biology program offers a challenging academic experience that combines theory and practice. Students learn the foundations of biology in the classroom and quickly find themselves discovering antibiotic-producing bacteria, wading through wetlands, exploring behavioral neuroscience, analyzing real-time physiological data, and studying patterns of evolution in fruit flies.


Program Overview

Upon completion of the B.S. program, students possess a professional resume, oral presentation skills, hands-on experience, and analytical and computer skills valued by employers, graduate schools, and professional schools. The Bachelor of Science in Biology degree requires a total of 120 hours.
