Acting Program

Our program prepares you for a career in all facets of actingfrom stage to television to film. You will be well rounded through acting training, dance classes, private singing lessons, and training in movement (including stage combat). We cast you early and often in our award-winning plays and musicals, and you can also perform in films produced by our motion pictures program. Our acting graduates are working across the nation at regional theatres, in TV and movies, on and off Broadway, and in national and international touring companies.

• Wright State senior Grace Beckman combines mechanical engineering with stage management. Grace Beckman, a mechanical engineering and stage management major, is part of the team producing "Mamma Mia!" in the Festival Playhouse.
• First-year student Ariana Bushs perseverance earns her a spot in Wright States Dance Program while pursuing political science. Ariana Bush was accepted into Wright States Dance Program after two years of singing lessons, intensive ballet classes, community theatre and College Credit Plus classes.
