Admission Requirements

To be admitted to this course, students must be admitted to a master's programme in the field of behavioral science. Upper level bachelor students in the field of psychology/behavioral science may also apply for the course.

Course Description

This course enables students to distinguish between neoclassical economics, behavioral economics, and behavior analysis, and to define key concepts such as bounded/unbounded rationality, discounting, and game theory principles. Students will understand the impact of beliefs, biases, and heuristics on choice behavior and be equipped to discuss various concepts within both standard economic models and behavioral economics.

Assessment

Students will be assessed through two individually written assignments, with a grading scale of A-F.
