PhD in Health Sciences

The PhD in Health Sciences is a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary program anchored in behavioral analysis and health sciences. The program's research goes across professions and creates a foundation for the development of knowledge-based health care services.

About the Program

The research will be conducted in cooperation with the clinical field and directed towards evaluation and interventions in health promotion, preventive health care, treatment, rehabilitation, and care. Common for all research areas within health sciences are human health on micro and macro levels, where the interaction between individual, interhuman, and societal conditions are central.

Program Description

The program is characterized by methodological and theoretical diversity. The training component consists of 30 ECTS credits and will support the work done in the research component (the thesis), which is equivalent to 150 ECTS credits. The training component consists of two obligatory courses in Health Sciences, one course in methodology, and two optional courses.
