Program Overview
Deutsche Philologie (Bachelor)
The Bachelor's program in Deutsche Philologie combines Germanistic literature and language science with philology and linguistics.
Program Overview
In the first half of the program, students acquire basic scientific knowledge in the four subject areas of Neuere Deutsche Literatur (NdL), Ältere Deutsche Literatur (ÄdL), Sprachwissenschaft (SpraWi), and Deutsch als Fremd- und Zweitsprache (DaF/Z). As the program progresses, the curriculum allows students to set individual priorities: with specialization in individual subject areas through elective courses, as well as the possibility of an extracurricular internship, students can individualize their qualification profile and adapt it to their career goals and further master's programs.
