Master's Degree in Teaching Subject "Movement and Sport" (A**2)

The Master's degree in Teaching Subject "Movement and Sport" (A**2) is a postgraduate program that focuses on the teaching of movement and sport in educational settings.

Master's Thesis in Movement and Sport

The Master's thesis is a crucial component of the program, and students are required to submit their thesis in accordance with the following steps:

1. Submission of documents to the Studies Service Center (SSC)
   • Students must submit their documents, including the Master's thesis, to the SSC in a timely manner to avoid delays.
   • The documents required for submission include:
     • Confirmation of plagiarism check (HOPLA)
     • Completed evaluation form (Beurteilungsbogen)
     • Two bound copies of the Master's thesis
     • Completed examination pass for the Master's degree in Teaching Subject "Movement and Sport"
     • Curriculum vitae
     • Recognition certificates (if applicable)
     • UHSTAT 2 document (mandatory)
2. Review of documents by the SSC
   • The SSC reviews the submitted documents to ensure they are complete and correct.
   • If the documents are incomplete or incorrect, the student will be notified and required to rectify the issue.
3. Registration for the Master's examination
   • Once the documents have been reviewed and approved, the student will be notified and required to register for the Master's examination.
   • The examination is a defense of the Master's thesis and includes a presentation and a question-and-answer session.
4. Master's examination
   • The Master's examination is the final assessment of the program and includes a defense of the Master's thesis and a question-and-answer session.
   • The examination is typically 10-15 minutes in duration and includes a presentation of the thesis and a discussion of the research.
5. After the Master's examination
   • After the examination, the student will be notified of the outcome and will receive their degree documents once they are available.
