FAQs

  • Can credits for UF Ethics be recognized?
    • All information on recognition in UF Ethics can be found here.
  • Will I be admitted to the MA Ethics UF with a BA PP?
    • No, a completed and graduated Bachelor's degree in UF Ethics is a prerequisite for the Master's program in UF Ethics.
  • What is the difference between MA Interdisciplinary Ethics and MEd Ethics UF?
    • The MA Interdisciplinary Ethics is not a teaching degree program, but a regular Master's program. With the completion of this Master's degree, persons can only teach if they have studied a regular teaching degree program with two other teaching subjects, including pedagogical training, independently of this Master's degree. The newly introduced UF Ethics, on the other hand, is part of a regular teaching degree program, is combined with another UF, and contains a pedagogical education as a third pillar, like any teaching degree program. This education naturally includes a teaching qualification at Austrian schools.
  • Does the MA UF Ethics replace the MA Interdisciplinary Ethics?
    • With regard to obtaining a teaching qualification for UF Ethics, yes. To teach ethics at schools, only the UF Ethics can be studied from October 1, 2022.
