Program Overview


University Programs and Services

Fitness Training Course

The Fitness Training Course (FTC) is a two-hour elementary level course that teaches the basic principles of exercise and the proper use of equipment in the fitness room.


  • Schedule: Available courses can be viewed for December 2025 and January 2026.
  • Registration: Opens on a first-come, first-served basis, with specific dates for December and January sessions.
  • Requirements:
    • Open to full-time students aged 15 or above.
    • Students are limited to registering for one course.
    • Registered students must attend the course punctually and in proper sportswear.
  • Attendance:
    • Taken within the first five minutes of the class.
    • Students who complete the course will be registered as eligible users of the PolyU Fitness Room.
    • An E-certificate will be awarded upon completion.

Counselling and Wellness

The university provides various counselling and wellness services, including:


  • Student Counselling: Offers meeting with counsellors, non-office hours hotline service, and assessment/tests.
  • Sports Development: Includes PE programs, sports teams, and sports facilities.
  • Wellness Centre: Provides fitness consultation, services, and resources.

  • Supporting Students with Special Educational Needs: Welcome pack, types of special needs, campus resources, scholarship and funding, and inclusion awareness enhancement.
