Introduction to the BSc (Hons) Scheme in Intelligent Supply Chain and Engineering Management
The BSc (Hons) Scheme in Intelligent Supply Chain and Engineering Management is designed to meet the needs of Hong Kong Society in enhancing its competitiveness in managing modern supply chain operations, technological and IT related enterprises in a global environment. This scheme aims to prepare a new generation of logistics and supply chain engineers, enterprise engineers, and professionals who are competent in supply chain and enterprise operations through using integrative engineering technology, information technology, and management.
Characteristics of the Scheme
The scheme provides comprehensive training in supply chain and enterprise activities in the areas of:
- Business processes
- Information flows
- Organizational structure
- Information systems
- Logistics systems
- Facility design
- Supply chain management
- Operations management It also equips graduates with the essential management and business skills that are critical for the effective design, planning, and efficient operation of enterprises in today's modern logistics and business environment.
Aims of the Scheme
In today's globalized and competitive business environment, logistics companies and enterprises need to identify, capture, and manage modern supply chain and business opportunities. To be successful, they must be efficient in their operations and be able to adapt to changes in the environment, the market, and customer expectations. The scheme aims to equip students with specialized skills in the management of supply chain and enterprise processes in modern organizations and businesses, in a global context.
Programmes under the Scheme
The following three BSc programmes are offered under the ISCEM Scheme:
- BSc (Hons) in Intelligent Supply Chain
- BSc (Hons) in Engineering Management with Data Analytics
- BSc (Hons) in Aviation Operations and Systems (available for students admitted in 2026/27 or after)
Admission Information
Admission to the scheme is available through different pathways:
- JUPAS Applicants: With HKDSE results
- NON-JUPAS Local Year 1 Admissions: For local students with non-HKDSE results or international qualifications
- International Students: Applicable to non-local students with international qualifications who require a student visa to study in Hong Kong Note: Local students are those who do not require a student visa to study in Hong Kong.
