Aims and Characteristics
Programme Aims
- To equip students with advanced knowledge and professional skills in rehabilitation sciences or a chosen area of clinical specialism, to enable them to meet the changing needs in rehabilitation practice and contribute to the development of specialty practices.
- To develop a lifelong ability in students to critically analyse ongoing and future practices in rehabilitation.
- To generate knowledge and skills in rehabilitation sciences or areas of clinical specialism relevant to the discipline, in order to improve professional competence in advanced rehabilitation sciences practice.
Characteristics
The MScAdRS programme will equip rehabilitation professionals and therapists with advanced knowledge and skills, grounded in a strong theoretical and scientific foundation of evidence-based practice responsive to both personal and environmental factors in practice and research settings. This programme offers two streams:
- A Generic stream
- A Rehabilitation of People with Developmental Disabilities stream
