Curriculum
The programme covers the following subject components:
- Core / Major Subjects: Students acquire foundational technical skills and knowledge about the construction and real estate industry and the surveying professions in year 2. In year 3, students choose one of the following surveying disciplines: Building Surveying (BS), General Practice Surveying (GP), Planning & Development (PD), Property and Facility Management (PFM), and Quantity Surveying (QS).
- General University Requirement Subjects: Students are required to take 27 credits of General University Requirement (GUR) subjects.
- Free Electives: Students are required to take 6 credits of Free Electives.
- Capstone Project: Students are required to undertake a 6-credit Capstone Project.
- Work-Integrated Education: The Work-Integrated Education (WIE) element of the programme lasts for a minimum duration of four weeks in full-time placement (equivalent to 22 full days) or 176 hours in part-time placement.
