Professional Recognition
Full accreditation has been granted to this programme by The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE). As such, graduates of the programme are qualified for Corporate Membership in HKIE after appropriate training and are eligible to join Scheme A training with HKIE in the following disciplines:

Curriculum
- Comprehensive subjects covering theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of civil engineering, environmental, geotechnical, hydraulic, structural, and transportation engineering, as well as construction management.
- The final-year curriculum provides in-depth exposure to specific fields of interest through a wide range of advanced elective subjects.
- Students conduct a Design Project, which requires them to integrate the knowledge and skills that they have acquired in their studies, and an Individual Capstone Project, which gives them research experience and thus facilitates their further intellectual development.
Credit Required for Graduation
Normally 67 (plus 5 practical training credits). A student's actual study pattern will depend on the subjects taken in their previous Higher Diploma or Associate Degree study as well as successful credit transfers according to the relevant criteria.
