Master of Arts in Global Fashion Management

The Master of Arts in Global Fashion Management is a postgraduate program designed to provide students with advanced-level education in fashion and textiles business management. The program aims to nurture fashion professionals and entrepreneurs with strong leadership and professional competency in leading the global fashion and creative industry.

Programme Structure

The program consists of core subjects, global immersion study pathways, and elective subjects. The core subjects include:

• Contemporary Issues in International Fashion Business
• Fashion Entrepreneurship and Organizational Behaviours
• Global Fashion Strategic Management

The Global Immersion Study Pathways (GIP) offers two study options:

1. Study Option 1 In collaboration with Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and Institut Français de la Mode (IFM)

• New York Seminars & Visits
• Paris Seminars & Visits
• Hong Kong, China Seminars & Visits

2. Study Option 2

• International Study Tours and Workshops (Europe/North America)
• International Study Tours and workshops (Asia)
• Capstone Project Innovative Business Proposal

Elective Subjects

Students can choose four out of six elective subjects:

1. Advanced Textiles Materials and Technologies
2. Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Management
3. Digital Disruption and Fashion Innovation Management
4. Fashion and Consumer Culture
5. Fashion Omni-channel Retailing
6. Luxury Fashion Brand Management

Entrance Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must have:

• A bachelors degree, postgraduate degree, or postgraduate diploma in any discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognized university.
• If the applicant is not a native speaker of English, and their Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification is awarded by institutions where the medium of instruction is not English, they must fulfill the Universitys minimum English language requirement for admission purposes.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee is HK$6,500 per credit. The program requires 31 credits for graduation.

Additional Requirements

Students are required to complete a 1-credit subject on Academic Integrity and Ethics (AIE) Requirement within the first semester of study. No credit fee will be charged for this subject. The AIE subject will be assessed on a pass/fail grading system and will not be included in the GPA calculation.
