The programme aims to prepare students to deliver occupation-based and client-centred occupational therapy with a commitment to promoting equal opportunities for all members of the community. Students learn how to maximise occupational performance, promote health, and improve life meaningfulness and quality of life of clients, their families, and caregivers.
Programme Characteristics
The programme uses an outcome-based learning approach and integrates academic and clinical education. Numerous excellent learning resources are provided, including up-to-date technological tools such as Web-based teaching and self-learning packages. Global learning experiences in occupational therapy are also available through fieldwork placements and academic exchange programmes in the Chinese Mainland and overseas.
