Aims and Characteristics
The Bachelor's Degree Scheme offers students the time and flexibility to explore various fields and empowers them to make well-informed decisions about their preferred programme. This scheme is intended to provide a flexible opportunity for students to explore the beauty of different science disciplines before committing to a major area of study.

Available Awards
Upon successful completion of the programme, students will receive one of the following awards:
- BSc (Hons) in Applied Biology with Biotechnology
- BSc (Hons) in Chemical Technology
- BSc (Hons) in Food Safety and Technology
- BSc (Hons) in Human Nutrition and Health/BSc (Hons) in Human Nutrition and Health (Nutrition in Practice)
- BSc (Hons) in Physics with a Secondary Major in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics/BSc (Hons) in Physics with a Secondary Major in Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Programme Structure
All admitted students embark on a Common Year One curriculum. Towards the end of year one, students can choose their preferred programme through a ranking assessment, which considers a combination of entrance qualification score, Year One GPA, and interview performance.
Eligibility for Entry Scholarship
Eligible students admitted to the scheme via JUPAS will be awarded an entry scholarship from the Faculty.
