Master of Science in Generative AI and the Humanities

The Master of Science in Generative AI and the Humanities is a postgraduate program that combines knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) with knowledge of the humanities. This interdisciplinary program aims to equip graduates with a holistic understanding of AI's impact on language, communication, the arts, and culture.

  • It consists of two specialisms: MSc in Generative AI and the Humanities (Language and Communication) and MSc in Generative AI and the Humanities (Arts and Culture).
  • The program is offered on both full-time and part-time bases, allowing students to complete it within 1 year (full-time) or 2 years (part-time).

Entrance Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
  • If the medium of instruction for the Bachelor's degree is not English, applicants must fulfill the University's minimum English language requirement.
  • Non-native Chinese-speaking students who choose the specialism of Arts and Culture must have a good knowledge of the Chinese language.
  • Applicants may be required to attend interviews or tests to demonstrate their language proficiency.

Tuition Fee

The tuition fee is HK$10,100 per credit. Note that no credit fee will be charged for the 1-credit subject "CBS5T01 Professional Ethics and Academic Integrity."
