Credits Required for Graduation
The credits required for graduation vary depending on the specialism or secondary major chosen:
- 121 credits (major with specialism + free electives) or (major with specialism + minor) and 6 training credits in work-integrated education and 1 training credit in professional development
- 133 credits (major + secondary major) and 6 training credits in work-integrated education and 1 training credit in professional development in AIDA or 3 training credits in work-integrated education and 1 training credit in professional development in IE

Aims and Characteristics
Programme Aims & Learning Outcomes
The program aims to:
- Ensure the all-round education and development of School of Hotel and Tourism Management graduates.
- Nurture graduates who can contribute efficiently, effectively, and sustainably to the operations and management of hospitality and tourism enterprises.
- Provide a multi-disciplinary education that equips students with the professional knowledge and skills required to excel in a broad range of complex, managerial, and specialised work activities in hospitality and tourism.
- Nurture graduates who can make meaningful contributions to the quality of service in hospitality and tourism.
Tuition Fee
The tuition fee for bachelor's degree programs is HKD44,500 (local students) / HKD175,000 (non-local students) per academic year, payable in two equal instalments before the start of the first and second semesters of the academic year.
Entry Scholarship
To recognise the outstanding academic performance of HKDSE students, the School will grant entry scholarships to eligible HKDSE students admitted to the scheme via JUPAS. The award criteria for the scholarship are subject to change and will be announced on the School website in due course.
