BSc (Hons) in Optometry

The Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Optometry provides comprehensive and intensive clinical training to students.

Clinical Training

Fourth and fifth year students will be rotated to:

• Primary Eye Care Clinic
• Contact Lens Clinic
• Paediatric and Visual Training Clinic
• Geriatric and Vision Rehabilitation Clinic
• Ocular Health Clinic These clinics are located at:
• The Optometry Clinic on the PolyU campus
• The Integrated Community Health Centre in Lai King
• Sik Sik Yuen The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Optometry Centre (Wong Tai Sin Teaching and Learning Centre)

Students Clinical Exposure in China

Since 2022, the School collaborates with Aier Eye Hospital Group to provide clinical training in Aiers eye hospitals and clinics in mainland China and overseas.
