PhD in Statistics

The purpose of the PhD program is to deepen one's knowledge in Probability Theory, Statistics, Financial or Actuarial Mathematics, and to pursue independent research in these fields. The dissertation contains new results which are usually published in peer-reviewed journals.

Requirements

Application and Admission

To be admitted to the PhD program, one needs a master's or equivalent degree in Mathematics or Statistics with good or excellent grade. There are different admission requirements for applicants with a Swiss degree and applicants with an international degree.
