The Certificate of Advanced Studies in General Management (CAS GM) is a university program offered by the Rochester-Bern Executive Programs, University of Bern, and University of Rochester. This program is designed for individuals who want to develop a more agile and influential leadership style to guide their organization through transformational processes.

Duration and Scope

The program starts in November 2025 and takes place over three months, from October to November and February. It covers 16 ECTS and is offered annually, with flexible entry possible.

The program is held in Bern, at the University of Bern, and is conducted in English.

Admission Criteria

Admission to the program requires:

• A university degree and 5 years of management experience
• Alternatively, 10+ years of managerial and leadership experience, with middle or senior level management experience, a convincing character, and fluency in English.

Tuition Fees

The program fees amount to CHF 12,400.

Organising Institution and Faculty

The Rochester-Bern Executive Programs is a Swiss foundation that cooperates closely with the universities of Rochester (USA) and Bern (CH). The faculty includes renowned academics from top business schools in Europe, Switzerland, the United States, and Asia.

Continuing Education

Participants who complete the CAS program and wish to pursue the Executive MBA within five years will receive accreditation for the courses already completed.
