Admission Requirements

To participate in the Master's program, students must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. International students require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and must apply for admission through the University of Bern's admission office.

Application and Admission

Applications must be submitted to the University of Bern's admission office. Admission requirements include:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• For international students, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and approval by the University of Bern's admission office

Previous Students

Previous students can apply for a change of study program or re-enroll for the next semester.

Graduation

To graduate, students must fulfill all program requirements and apply for graduation at the Dean's office.

Individual Study Requirements

The following study qualifications are required for admission:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Bachelor's degree with Computer Science as a minor or a related field, with additional requirements of up to 60 ECTS points
• Bachelor's degree from a Swiss university of applied sciences in Computer Science with a minimum grade of 5, and additional requirements of 30-60 ECTS points

The following Swiss Bachelor's degrees qualify for admission without further evaluation:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Bern
