Program Overview
The University of Geneva offers a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Sexual Health, with a focus on prevention and promotion. This program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of sexual health, including its historical, psychosocial, anthropological, public health, and legal aspects.
Objectives

Program Structure
The program consists of three modules:
- Human Relations and Sexuality: This module explores the determinants of sex, gender, and sexuality, as well as the various dimensions of intimacy and body relationships.
- Public Health and Sexual Health: This module covers the basics of public health work, promotion of sexual health, and prevention, with a focus on national and international frameworks.
- Practical Laboratory: This module involves an alternation between thematic courses and in-depth workshops, aiming to identify tools and resources based on situations from the participants' professional environments.

The diploma is awarded jointly by the University of Geneva, the University of Lausanne, and the Haute École spécialisée de Suisse occidentale (HES-SO), in partnership with Santé sexuelle suisse, Lausanne.
