The program in question is the CAS (Certificat de formation continue) in Sexual Health: Prevention and Promotion Approaches. This program is designed to provide participants with a multidisciplinary understanding of sexual health, focusing on prevention and promotion strategies.
Objectives
The primary objectives of this program are:

- To discover and deepen projects of prevention and promotion in the domain of sexual health.

This program is aimed at professionals in the medical, psycho-social, educational, or training fields who are likely to intervene in matters related to sexual health.
Program Structure
The program consists of three modules:
- Relations Humaines et Sexualité (Human Relations and Sexuality): This module explores the determinants of sex, gender, and sexuality, including intimacy, body relations, psycho-sexual development, and the foundations of sexuality and couple relationships in diverse cultural and social contexts.
- Santé Publique et Santé Sexuelle (Public Health and Sexual Health): This module covers the basics of public health work, the promotion of sexual health, and prevention, with a focus on national and international frameworks. It also delves into legal bases in Switzerland regarding sexuality and sexual health, and analyzes projects of prevention and promotion in the field of sexual health.
- Laboratoire Pratique (Practical Laboratory): This module involves an alternation between thematic courses and in-depth workshops. Participants identify tools and resources based on situations from their professional environments and work on developing a professional posture based on rights in the promotion of sexual health in different intervention contexts.
Admission Criteria
To be admitted to the program, candidates must:
- Hold a tertiary A degree (Bachelor's or university diploma from a University of Applied Sciences in social work, health, human sciences, psychology, or an equivalent title) and have at least 2 years of professional experience related to the CAS.
- Alternatively, hold a tertiary B title (Federal Diplomas, ES Diplomas, Federal Diplomas, regulated training diplomas) in relevant fields with at least 5 years of professional experience.
- Candidates without a tertiary title may be admitted through a dossier evaluation procedure, which is an exception and requires an additional fee.
Tuition Fees
The total cost for the program is CHF 5,600, with an additional non-refundable registration fee of CHF 200.
Duration and Credits
The program runs from November 2025 to October 2026, offering 15 ECTS credits.
Partnerships
The program is delivered in partnership with the University of Geneva, the University of Lausanne, and the Haute École spécialisée de Suisse occidentale (HES-SO), with the support of Santé sexuelle suisse, Lausanne.
Coordination and Direction
The program is coordinated by Agnčs Földhazi from the Haute École de travail social (HETS), Geneva, and directed by a committee including representatives from the partner institutions and Santé sexuelle suisse.
Scientific Committee
The program's scientific committee includes experts from various institutions, ensuring the academic rigor and relevance of the program's content.
Additional Information
Participants from Geneva and neighboring France may be eligible for a "chčque de formation" under certain conditions. The program contributes to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to health and well-being.
