Hospital Pharmacy
Program Overview
Hospital Pharmacy Program
The research in hospital pharmacy aims to optimize the safety, efficiency, and traceability of patient care in hospitals. It applies to various activities of a hospital pharmacy, from logistics to production, quality control to clinical pharmacy, closely intertwined with the services provided daily in hospitals. The results can then be directly applied to medication management processes, benefiting patients.
Program Overview
On the teaching side, the hospital pharmacies of Geneva, Lausanne, Sion, and Rennaz collaborate to provide training at the pre-graduate and post-graduate levels. A 3-year specialization in the form of a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in hospital pharmacy is offered by the Section of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Geneva.
