Master in Communication and Digital Cultures
Presentation
The Master in Communication and Digital Cultures is a program that prepares students for careers in communication, media analysis, web writing, podcasting, online monitoring, web ethnography, digital cultural mediation, content design, and user experience (UX) research.
Structure of the Master
The master is composed of four blocks:
- Digital Cultures: Contains five courses focusing on digital cultures and communication.
- Practical courses supporting students in the development of their dissertation.
- Methods: analysis and creation: Allows students to refine their technical skills by choosing from 18 courses dedicated to different methods.
- Digital communication: content and practices: Focuses on online communication practices and the analysis of content circulation on digital networks.
Admission and Practical Information
- Required diploma: Bachelor or equivalent title
- Teaching language: French (good skills in French, level B2 is required to study at the University of Geneva)
- Deadline for applications: February 28 of each year
- Applications must contain a set of documents depending on the academic situation of the candidate and a mini-research project describing a possible research subject.
