The Master of Marketing is a 15-month coursework masters program that develops the advanced skills and knowledge required to pursue a global career in marketing and related fields.
Programme Overview
This program is designed for individuals with an undergraduate degree in a non-business discipline or a business degree in an unrelated field. It provides advanced skills and knowledge in business and marketing, as well as a strong platform of professional skills. Graduates will have an appreciation of current international trends in marketing, enhancing their competitiveness.
Programme Structure
The Master of Marketing is a 15-month, 180-point program studied over five quarters. The program includes core business and specialist courses focusing on marketing management, understanding consumers, branding, and digital marketing strategy. An industry-focused project and a professional development module are also key components of the degree.
Entry Requirements
- Minimum Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree with a GPA of 5.0.
- For international students, an IELTS Academic score of 6.5 with no bands less than 6.0.
- Further Requirements:
- Completion of a BCom or a non-business degree in a relevant discipline.
- A GPA of 5.0 in 60 points or higher in Stage II for some courses.
- Advice on substitute courses will be provided on a case-by-case basis for those who have completed advanced courses considered substantially similar to courses in this program.
Fees and Scholarships
- 2026 Fees:
- Domestic students: NZ$33,448.01 for the full 180-point program.
- International students: NZ$76,722.98 for the full 180-point program.
- Student Services Fee: An additional $9.44 per point, estimated at $1,416.00 for full-time study.
- Scholarships and Awards: Available for eligible students.
