Introduction to the Bachelor of Health Sciences / Bachelor of Science Conjoint
The Bachelor of Health Sciences / Bachelor of Science Conjoint (BHSc/BSc) is a multidisciplinary program that combines the study of health, healthcare, and its services with a passion for science. This conjoint degree allows students to develop their interest and knowledge about the government's role in determining health policy, explore how wealth systems function, and understand the biological and social bases of ill-health in communities.
Programme Overview
The BHSc/BSc conjoint program can be completed in four years (eight semesters) if studied full-time, with nine courses completed each year. The program consists of 540 points, comprising:
- 270 points from BHSc courses
- 255 points from BSc courses
- 15 points from General Education courses
The first year of the Health Sciences program includes a set of compulsory courses, while the enrollment for the BSc side depends on the chosen major(s). Students can choose either a single major or double major, with some majors not available for conjoint degrees.
