UoA Online: Start Smart is a free online preparation course designed to help students feel confident and ready to succeed from day one. The course is available to anyone who applies to study with UoA Online.

Course Overview

The course is six weeks long and is designed to build confidence, study skills, and a professional network. Students will create a personal development plan that connects their study to their career goals, build a confident and motivated study mindset, and develop practical time management habits to balance their commitments.

Accessing the Course

Applicants will receive access to the course by 9 December 2025. After this date, access will be provided within three business days of receiving their application. It is recommended that students apply at least seven weeks before their program or course begins to make the most of the six weeks of preparation and learning.
