Program Overview


Global Citizens Path

The Global Citizens Path is a recognition program that acknowledges students who have demonstrated a commitment to global citizenship through volunteering, cultural understanding, or sustainability efforts.


Requirements

To complete the Global Citizens Path, students must fulfill the following requirements:


  • Complete 40 hours of volunteering overseas
  • Complete 40 hours supporting international students or cultural groups
  • Complete 40 hours of sustainability activities
  • Complete 40 hours of an approved (non-credit) 360 International programme
  • Complete one professional development workshop
  • Complete a written reflection (300-500 words)

Outcomes

Upon completing the Global Citizens Path, students will:


  • Possess a global outlook and multicultural perspective, displayed through a commitment to the betterment of society
  • Be an open thinker who appreciates the riches of diversity and equity
  • Be positioned to create a sustainable future that considers social, cultural, environmental, and economic consequences of global issues
  • Enhance their co-curricular record and add value to their CV

Eligible Activities

Eligible activities for the Global Citizens Path include volunteering overseas, supporting international students or cultural groups, participating in sustainability activities, and completing approved 360 International programmes.

Award
