Program Overview
Introduction to the Velocity Programme
The Velocity programme is a University of Auckland initiative that offers students the opportunity to develop transferable skills, build connections, and make a real impact. As a member of the Velocity Committee, students will develop sought-after skills, gain leadership experience, and contribute to one of the Universitys most celebrated initiatives.
About the Programme
The Velocity programme is free for University of Auckland students and staff. While there are no formal assessments, participation may count towards the co-curricular recognition programme and the Distinguished Graduate Award. The programme is organised into subteams, each focusing on specific components of Velocity but united by a shared purpose: creating a world-class programme.

- Outreach: This team builds connections with faculties, student clubs, and communities across the university and beyond, holding workshops and initiatives aimed at engaging a diverse range of students.
- Postgraduate: This team champions postgraduate engagement across Velocity, designing initiatives that connect university postgraduate students with the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
