Program Overview


Master of Education Practice - MEdPrac (180 points - Inclusive Education)

The Master of Education Practice - MEdPrac (180 points - Inclusive Education) is a postgraduate program designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and skills in education practice, with a focus on inclusive education.


Full-time Program

The full-time program is completed over two years. In the first year, students choose 60 points from the following courses in Semester One:


  • EDCURRIC 700: Contemporary Pedagogies (30 points)
  • EDCURRIC 720: Teaching with Digital Pedagogies (30 points)
  • EDUC 716: Education and Diversity (30 points)
  • EDUC 755: Social Psychology of the Classroom (30 points)
  • EDUC 759: Inclusive Practices for Neurodiversity (30 points)

In Semester Two, students choose 60 points from the following courses:


  • EDPROFST 734: Frameworks for Inclusive Settings (30 points)
  • EDPROF 704: Advanced Study of Education Practice (30 points)
  • EDPROF 732: Collaboration and Inclusive Practices (30 points)
  • EDPROF 737: Ako: Learning to Learn and Teaching to Learn (30 points)
  • EDUC 767: Childhood Studies (30 points)

Part-time Program

The part-time program is completed over three years. In the first year, students take the following courses:


  • Semester 1: EDUC 759: Inclusive Practices for Neurodiversity (30 points)
  • Semester 2: EDPROFST 734: Frameworks for Inclusive Settings (30 points)

In the second year, students take the following courses:


  • Semester 1: EDPROF 704: Advanced Study of Education Practice (30 points)
  • Semester 2: A full list of course options will be available from early November of the previous year.

In the third year, students take the following courses:
