Dean's Leadership Programme
The Dean's Leadership Programme (DLP) is a prestigious initiative developed by the Faculty of Engineering and Design to empower selected students with leadership capabilities that will set them apart as future industry leaders.
About the Programme
The programme is designed to develop essential leadership skills and prepare students for success in their first professional role. It takes place in Semester Two and nurtures leadership potential by exposing students to real-world challenges, multidisciplinary perspectives, and key industry insights.

- Induction Session an introduction to the programme and what to expect.
- Breakfast Sessions with industry leaders engaging in discussions with professionals who challenge traditional engineering and design thinking.
- Workshops on soft skills covering key leadership concepts like communication, resilience, teamwork, conflict resolution, etc.
- Mid-Semester Activity a hands-on project and networking opportunity with fellow participants.

Applications for the Dean's Leadership Programme (DLP) are open to all Engineering Part II & III students and Year 2 Architecture, Urban Planning and Design students.

Eligibility
The programme is open to Engineering Part II & III students and Year 2 Architecture, Urban Planning and Design students.
