Program Overview
The University of Auckland offers a Certificate of Proficiency in Product Management, a 15-point credit-bearing course that develops skills aligned with the responsibilities of product managers. This course is part of the Master of Business Management (MBM) and can also be taken as a standalone study option.

Admission Criteria

Course Structure
The course explores how product managers execute strategy, manage product portfolios, harness customer insights, prioritize development, and foster cross-functional collaboration. Students will create and effectively communicate key product management artifacts while developing and justifying evidence-based product strategies.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will:
- Be awarded 15 credit points from the University of Auckland
- Have the option to take their credit into the MBM in Product Management (subject to entry criteria and time limits)
