Program Overview


Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences in Pharmaceutical Science

The Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences (PGDipHSc) in Pharmaceutical Science is designed for pharmacy and science graduates who wish to develop and enhance their knowledge and skill in respect of the development and introduction of new pharmaceutical products.


Programme Structure

Students are required to enrol and complete the following courses:


  • PHARMACY 750 - Pharmaceutical Formulation (30 Points)
  • PHARMACY 751 - Pharmaceutical Techniques (30 Points) and 60 points from:
    • PHARMACY 752 - Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance (15 Points)
    • PHARMACY 753 - Regulatory Affairs (15 Points)
    • PHARMACY 754 - Pharmaceutical Science Research Proposal (15 Points)
    • PHARMACY 760 - Literature Review in Pharmaceutical Sciences (15 Points) Or 30 points from:
    • PHARMACY 752 - Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance (15 Points)
    • PHARMACY 753 - Regulatory Affairs (15 Points)
    • PHARMACY 754 - Pharmaceutical Science Research Proposal (15 Points)
    • PHARMACY 760 - Literature Review in Pharmaceutical Sciences (15 Points) and
    • 30 points from other courses offered at 700 level at this University, with the approval of the Head of the School of Pharmacy or delegate nominee.
