Introduction to the MA Professional Practice in Education

The MA Professional Practice in Education is a postgraduate degree designed to support career development into leadership positions within schools, youth work, not-for-profit organizations, and charities. This course is for aspiring educational leaders who have achieved their Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Contemporary and Critical Issues in Education: Theory, Policy, and Context

Research Methodologies (Education)

Entry Requirements

The applicant should have 60 credits at level 7 (i.e., a relevant PG Cert), which will be recognized or accredited towards the full MA. Examples of relevant PG Certs include:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PCAP)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PG Cert HE)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education Typical offer: 2:2 in a relevant subject area.

  • Standard Tuition Fee: Ł11,150 per year UK students can take out a Masters Loan to help with tuition fees and living costs. The university also offers a range of scholarships and awards to students.
