MA Early Childhood and Education

The MA Early Childhood and Education course is designed for graduates who want to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families. This rewarding course has babies and young children at its heart and draws on subjects such as education, health studies, social work, and social policy, psychology, and sociology.

Course Overview

The course takes a holistic approach to the development of young children, from birth to the age of five. It explores current critical issues within the early years landscape and examines early child development within a global context, including aspects related to child development, diversity, and culture.

Module Options

For a full Masters degree, students will study 180 credits over the duration of their course. The modules include:

Entry Requirements

To apply for this course, students need a 2:2 Honours degree (or international equivalent) in a relevant subject area. The program is designed for graduates who have studied a subject relevant to this course.

Fees and Funding

The tuition fee for UK students is Ł11,150 per year, and for international students, the fee is not specified. Students can apply for a Masters Loan to help with tuition fees and living costs.
