Program Details

The university program in question is the Droit civil et dťveloppement international et mondialisation (integrated program).


Admission Criteria

To be admitted to this program, students must:


  • Study full-time in the Licence en droit (LL.L.) and B.Sc.Soc. specialized in dťveloppement international et mondialisation program and maintain full-time status during all semesters of study, including the one after the last internship
  • Maintain a cumulative weighted average (MPC) of at least 6 in the courses taken at the University of Ottawa
  • Have completed all course requirements up to the end of the second year and be registered in the compulsory courses of their study program in the fall and winter of the third year in order to follow the approved work-study sequence

Co-op Fees

As a co-op student, fees are paid starting from the semester preceding the first internship and then for each subsequent internship until the last one. The amount of these fees is announced by the Registrar each year.

Application Process

To apply for admission to the co-op program, students can follow one of two paths:


  1. When applying for admission to the University, they can simultaneously submit an application to one of the programs offering co-op education (except for translation and biomedical sciences). The required admission average is:
  • 80% or higher for high school students admitted to first year university
  • 75% or higher for those who have completed at least two years of college
  1. After starting their studies at the University, they can submit an application to the co-op program.

The deadline to apply to the Co-op Program is September 30 of their second year of study.
