The École de vente en génie at the University of Ottawa leverages research conducted at the Faculty of Engineering, its industry partnerships, and its network of alumni to offer a portfolio of courses and training programs. The goal is to equip engineering students and professionals with the necessary skills to make an impact in the business world and have a successful career. Since 2009, over 3,000 University of Ottawa students have benefited from these training programs as credit courses during their academic journey, and are now navigating the business world with success.

Through a new partnership with the Institut de développement professionnel, these courses are now being offered to professional engineers and computer scientists, teams, and companies.

• New knowledge - and new intersections between this knowledge - required to create up-to-date solutions

Communication et influence dans les entreprises

These skills will be developed through three learning modules and one application module. Students will learn about listening, questioning, dialogue management, staff motivation, and influence skills.

Présentations, propositions, pitch commercial et prix

Develop these skills either as part of the BCI/CSE program or through an intensive workshop. Through customized workshops, students can develop sales skills such as analysis, logic, and reasoning.

The sales certification program for engineers is based on the communication and influence in business program to help students deepen their sales, entrepreneurship, advertising, product management, and other skills.
