Program Overview
Majeure en ╔tudes Autochtones
The Majeure en ╔tudes Autochtones is a 42-credit program that aims to enrich students' knowledge of the history, philosophy, spirituality, cultures, and arts of Indigenous peoples in Canada and North America, as well as Indigenous peoples around the world. Students will also study the evolution and current way of life of these communities. The program offers the opportunity to attend conferences given by leaders in the fields of politics, arts, and Indigenous thought.
Program Requirements
The program requires a minimum of 42 credits, including:
- 12 credits of compulsory courses:
- EAS 1501: Introduction to Indigenous Studies (3 credits)
- EAS 2501: Colonialism and Indigenous Peoples (3 credits)
- EAS 3501: Research and Methodologies in Indigenous Studies (3 credits)
- EAS 4503: Seminar in Indigenous Studies (3 credits)
