Mathematics and Statistics, Concentration in Statistics (MSC)
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the Mathematics and Statistics, Concentration in Statistics (MSC) program, applicants must:
- Be registered full-time in the Master of Mathematics and Statistics, Concentration in Statistics and maintain a full-time status during all study terms, including the one after the last work term
- Have an admission average of B+ (75%) and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 7.0 (B+ or 75%) in courses taken at the University of Ottawa
- Pay the required co-op fees
- Start the program in the fall term due to co-op placement cycles

Co-op Fees
As a co-op student, additional co-op fees are required for the session before the first work term and for every work term, up to and including the last one. These fees are announced annually by the Registrar.

Application Process
To apply for the co-op program, students must:
- Have an admission average of 75% (B+) or higher
- Apply through the Experiential Learning Platform (Co-op Portal) on uoZone after starting their studies at the University of Ottawa
- Meet the application deadline of September 30 of their first year of studies
