Program Overview
Bachelor of Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Studies
The Bachelor of Social Sciences in Interdisciplinary Studies allows students to cover the fundamentals of the social sciences and is an excellent springboard to studies in law or education. This program is offered in English and in French.
Program Overview
The program requires a minimum of 120 units. A minimum of 27 course units at the 3000 or 4000 level is required.

- ENG 1100: Workshop in Essay Writing (3 Units)
- ENG 1120: Selected Topics in Literature and Composition (3 Units) Total: 6 Units

- SCS 2150: Social Sciences and Research (3 Units)
- SCS 2160: Social Sciences and Changing Societies (3 Units)
- Optional courses:

- SCS 3130: Social Innovation and Community Engagement
- SCS 3340: Social Innovation and Social Justice - Practicum
- A major offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences (42 Units)
