Program Overview
Master of Arts Education Program
The Master of Arts Education Program (MA) is intended for candidates who wish to undertake research in education. It also includes a specific concentration in Counselling Psychology and Health Professions Education. The MA program participates in the collaborative program in Feminist and Gender Studies at the master's level.
Admission Requirements
Candidates holding an honours bachelor's degree in education or equivalent, with a minimum overall undergraduate average of 70% (B), may be admitted directly to the master's program. All candidates must understand and speak fluently the language of instruction, either French or English.
Program Structure
- The individual program of study is prepared by the student in collaboration with his/her thesis supervisor.
- MA candidates must complete a minimum of six courses (18 units).
