New Firmware
The School of Social Work will launch a new microprogram in the fall of 2024. The microprogram, titled "Development of indigenous family-child services foundations for practice" (or "Mizimizide nanda kikenindjigani pagidinigewin ondje Wěyagi iji Anishinŕbe Odeg Abinňdjěnshi Wědňkŕzowin" in Anishinaabe), consists of 3 courses for a total of 9 credits. One course will be offered per session, starting in the fall of 2024. The microprogram aims to address the needs of Indigenous communities developing their own child and family support systems following the enactment of federal law C-92 in 2020 and recent legislative changes.
