Honours BSc Nursing - 4-Year Program

This program is a 4-year honors degree in nursing.

New Entry: Starting September 2025

For students starting in September 2025, the deadlines and requirements are as follows:

• November 1, 2025:
  • Student Placement: Immunization Requirements (immunization history and serology)
  • Covid-19 Vaccination: Documented evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19 is required
    • A full series consists of 2 or more doses if completed prior to October 2023 or 1 or more doses if completed after October 2023
  • Important information regarding the Tuberculin Skin Test (TST)

Admission: September 2024 (Year 2)

For students admitted in September 2024 (Year 2), the deadlines and requirements are as follows:

• June 30, 2025:
  • Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC): original document with embossed seal or electronic document forwarded from police service
    • VSC must only be obtained after April 15, 2025, to ensure that it remains valid for the duration of the placement period
  • Annual Full Certification Course for CPR-HCP (Health Care Provider) or BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • Certificate must only be obtained after April 15, 2025, to ensure that it remains valid for the duration of the placement period
  • 2nd step of the Tuberculin Skin Test (TST)
    • Test must only be administered after April 15, 2025, to ensure that results remain valid for the entire placement period
• December 1, 2025:
  • Seasonal Influenza Vaccination
  • N95 Mask Fit Testing
• June 30, 2026:
  • 2-step Tuberculin Skin Test (TST)
    • Test must only be administered after April 15, 2026, to ensure that results remain valid for the entire placement period

Admission: September 2023 (Year 3)

For students admitted in September 2023 (Year 3), the deadlines and requirements are as follows:

• June 30, 2025:
  • Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC): original document with embossed seal or electronic document forwarded from police service
    • VSC must only be obtained after April 15, 2025, to ensure that it remains valid for the duration of the placement period
  • CPR-HCP (Health Care Provider) or BLS (Basic Life Support) Renewal Course

  • Crisis Intervention Training
  • 1-step TST or if previously tested positive, complete and submit the form: Tuberculosis Signs and Symptoms Self-Declaration

• December 1, 2025:
