Regional Health Senior Leadership Program

About the Program

The Regional Health Senior Leadership Program has been renewed to address current leadership needs in the healthcare system. The program aims to strengthen and refine the skills of healthcare leaders to respond effectively to the challenges of a brittle, anxious, non-linear, and incomprehensible (BANI) emerging future. The 8-day program will focus on different leadership themes, delivered through small peer group activities, immersive and experiential leadership workshops, and guest speaker panels.

Program Objectives

The program is designed with a focus on:

• increasing healthcare leadership capacity and resources
• enhancing the quality of collaboration within and across institutions in the system
• supporting the achievement of the quintuple aim framework
• providing relevant, applied, and practical learning
• offering a cost-effective, scalable, sustainable, and LEADS/CHE-aligned program
• promoting multi-disciplinary leadership (physicians, nurses, other allied-health professionals, non-clinical managers, researchers, etc.)

• Senior leaders (e.g., senior managers, directors, heads of divisions or departments, site leaders, senior administrators)
• Regional healthcare providers (hospitals, OHT partners, primary care, community care, long-term care, etc.)
• Leaders from private organizations within the health sector

• How their leadership style and preferences can support or hinder their ability to address healthcare system challenges
• Strategies for building trust and greater team alignment
• How to design and lead focused change initiatives for quality and patient experience
