Philosophy, Science and Values PhD Program

Introduction

The PhD Program in Philosophy, Science and Values is an interdisciplinary program that integrates various fields of philosophy and science studies. The program is coordinated by the University of the Basque Country and involves the participation of three universities: the University Carlos III of Madrid, the University of the Basque Country, and the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Program Description

The program aims to train researchers in multiple fields, combining diverse areas of philosophy and science studies. The integration of research groups from the three participating universities allows for a comprehensive offer of studies that enable the acquisition of interdisciplinary research competencies in a high-value scientific field.

Program Structure

The program is adapted to the Royal Decree 99/2011, of January 28, which regulates official doctoral studies. Administratively, PhD students are enrolled in the School of Master's and Doctoral Studies at the University of the Basque Country, which is responsible for managing student records and issuing degrees. The School of Doctoral Studies at the University Carlos III of Madrid and the Graduate Coordination at the National Autonomous University of Mexico are responsible for organizing the program's educational activities at their respective universities.
