Introduction

This Microcredencial prepares students to successfully pass the FM (Financial Mathematics) exam of the Society of Actuaries (SOA). The SOA exams are highly valued professional certifications in the actuarial sector and are often a requirement to work as an actuary in countries such as the US, Canada, Latin America, or China.

• Pedro José Serrano Gutiérrez: Professor of Financial Economics and Accounting at the Department of Business Economics

External Faculty

• Miguel Fernández-Queipo: Actuary at Sanitas, with previous experience at Aegon Seguros and Ama Agrupación Mutual Aseguradora. He studied at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from 2009 to 2011.

Practical Information

Teaching Methodology

The course uses online exam simulations similar to the SOA Exam FM. The microcredencial format allows students to add the learning outcomes to their professional curriculum according to the European Learning Model.
