Program Overview


Master in Mediation, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution

The Master in Mediation, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution is a comprehensive program that offers a complete, interdisciplinary, and practical curriculum. The program is designed to provide graduates with the highest level of professionalization in mediation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.


Graduate School of Law

The program is directed by Prof. Helena Soleto Mu隳z, a renowned expert in the field, and is supported by a team of experienced professors and professionals. The program is offered in Spanish and has a duration of 60 ECTS credits.


Attendance and Campus

The program is available in both online and on-campus modes, with 40 places available for on-campus attendance and 30 places for online attendance. The on-campus mode is held at the Getafe campus.


Curriculum

The curriculum is divided into two semesters, with a range of compulsory and elective subjects. The compulsory subjects include:

  • Introduction to Negotiation (6 ECTS)
  • Negotiation Process and Techniques (3 ECTS)

Master's Thesis

The program also includes a Master's Thesis (12 ECTS) that provides students with the opportunity to conduct in-depth research and analysis on a topic related to mediation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

The admission criteria for the program include:


  • Student record of previous studies (30 points)
  • Knowledge of other languages (5 points)
  • Professional experience (20 points)
  • Marks obtained in subjects essential to the Master's program (20 points)

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees for the program are:

  • Non-EU students: 7,200 (120/ECTS)

Enrollment

Students can enroll in the program after completing the admission process and receiving formal confirmation of their acceptance. The enrollment process can be done online, and students can choose between full-time and part-time enrollment.


Virtual Modality

The program is also offered in a virtual modality, which provides students with the flexibility to complete the program online. The virtual modality includes live classes, seminars, and tutoring, and students can access the course materials and participate in discussions through the Aula Global platform.


Evaluation

The evaluation of the program is based on continuous assessment, including individual and group work, practical exercises, and a final paper or exam.
